The language of communication at the Conference will be English, and all abstracts must be written in clear English.

All accepted and paid abstracts will be collected in a book of proceedings online.

  • 1 Registration = 1 Abstract 
  • Full papers will be sent to peer review (for journal publication) only if abstracts are presented in the conference.
  • Submission of full papers is not mandatory for participation in the conference.

Refund Policy: Before 30 April, 30% of the NORMAL FEE will be retained. After 30 April, no NORMAL FEE will be funded. Please note that LIVE and REPOSITORY fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Delegates are welcome to send to ( ferreira@fe.up.pt ) their full papers until end June 2022, for selection of papers and journals.


Please note the Ian Marshall Award for Best Student Paper. The late Professor Ian Marshall was the founder Editor of Composite Structures. 

Competition until 1 July 2022. The interested students must:

  1. Submit the full paper until 1 July 2022 to ferreira@fe.up.pt
  2. Register at the ICCS25 conference and present their paper in-person or LIVE (online using zoom)
  3. Be Master or PhD students. Phd holders that finished thesis on 2021 or 2022 can compete

The selected student(s) will be announced at the ICCS25 Conference dinner and later online at the conference website.

The award includes publication of full paper in Composite Structures.
